Where does time go?

All right.
Who made off with my last two weeks?
They're gone.
Poof!
Into thin air, there they went.
I'd like them back please.
Yeah, wouldn't that be nice.

I know this is extremely belated, but I hope y'all had a happy Thanksgiving, watched a lot of football, ate lots of carbs... All that good stuff... (At our house we do that on the weekends anyway, but Thanksgiving at least gives us a good excuse.)

The above photo was my entryway table a few weeks ago. I bought some chocolate colored burlap (Wow- the price of that stuff is really great! Like, under a dollar per yard!) as well as some matching tulle (Very inexpensive as well.), and clouded the tulle over the burlap. I don't know if you can tell in the photo, but I think it makes a nice foundation for the spread. The price makes it even sweeter. Love those Hobb Lobb 50% off sales!

I am happy to say that my Christmas tree is up, the house is decorated, and my Christmas shopping was done way back on Black Friday. (Sidenote: I know why it's called "Black Friday", but it just sounds so omnious to me... Like, the Black Plague or something... Weird, I know... Although to husbands and boyfriends across the country, I'm sure it is an omnious day. Lol.) I totally didn't have the patience to brave the crowds at the mall, so I took advantage of some great free shipping offers at online stores. All my shopping. Done online. First year ever for that. Loved it.

Did you know there are some really great, large online stores that take Paypal?

Smart Bargains
Toys R Us
Overstock
Avon
Eastbay

I know there are some more big ones- I just can't think of them right now. Okay, now that I've given these to you, you have to promise not to stalk the designer handbag and sunglasses sections at Smart Bargains and Overstock and steal any good deals away from me!!! I bought this fabulous MICHAEL Michael Kors bag from Smart Bargains that was originally over $350 for a little over a hundred. I tried to find a photo to show y'all, but the particular style I carry is gone. Merry Christmas to me. Speaking of Christmas, on my next blog post, I'll show photos of our Christmas decorations! (Don't worry, I'll crop out the sky high pile of laundry that needs to be folded.)

Have a happy handmade holiday season!

Love to all of you!

XO,
Renee'

Wow, love your burlap with tulle. Never would have thought that would make such a great combination.
